I didnt know of her until recently, i got the shits with all the knew movies that concentrate on digital effects and not the story line so purchased a pile of those old B&W DVDs and have been watching them, she was in a few of them then i came accross a pic of her..
enough said..
you sound like your as young as me, ROFL..

well a bit longer in the tooth I think
but yes old B&W have a flavor all there own and like today you just dont get actors or actresses like them

I dont know if thats cuase they kind took the gloss of movies and made them more everyday real life or what
but certainly we dont seem to have many real characters
like the old days...

I had to laugh there is an old movie called Dead of night [link] made in the 40's it had Googie Withers [link] whom now lives in Aust
she is still alive and someone said in coronation street that she would turn in her grave.,..they had to apologize the studio cause still alive and kicking..but sure very old now very stylish woman in her day
its an interesting move if you like the twilight zone..quite ahead of its time I think in style..
